To Glorify God

Dear Judah and my future Grandchildren,

It is important for you to know that you were created for a purpose.  That purpose is to glorify God by enjoying Him forever.  You, and every other person ever created, were designed to know God and reflect Him.  You were designed to give creation a tangible example of God’s love, goodness, beauty, justice, mercy, and many of His other wonderful attributes.  Just like a tool is designed for a specific purpose and works best when used for that purpose, you are designed to bring God glory and work best when you do that.  This is what Jesus meant when He said that He came that his sheep may have abundant life.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

John 10:10

As, by the Spirit, you grow in reflecting God’s glory you will notice that your joy will deepen and increase.  Never forget that God’s glory is your good.
