Don’t Know What to Do

I am at a loss for what to do today.

I’ll simply sit and come to you to pray.

Dear Judah and my future grandchildren,

Sometimes life is going to be so hard and confusing that you won’t know what to do.  It is hard to put into words how you may feel at that point.  It may seem if the ground underneath your feet has given way.  It may seem as if everything you know has been revealed as a dream.  Yet the one thing you can be sure of is that God is.  He is true.  He is good.  He is all powerful.  He is everything the scriptures say He is.  In the end He is really the only one that you can completely trust.  If only those who chose not to repent would only do so, then their lives would be infinitely better.

Judah, don’t ever let go of Jesus, or rather beg Jesus to never let go of you.  The real precious value of knowing Jesus only grows through trials and difficulties.  Those trials are put there by God to refine your faith.  They give you a more clear vision of the greatness of Christ.

If there is only one thing that I can choose for you, it is simply to know and walk with Jesus.  In the end nothing else really matters.  Don’t let the difficulties of life push you away from Him.  Let them push you toward Him.  You will find that He is always faithful to work His glory for your good.

Never forget that,
Grandpa
